Some of my friends pointed out the other day that saying swineflu is becoming a taboo word in public - it's sad to say that I'm definitly noticing it too. It's kind of scary; atleast ten people out in almost all of my classes. The were only sixteen people in my biology class. Only three groups were able to present today in French class.

I'm afriad to touch the railings when I go down the stairs, I treat all doorknobs like they're infested - same with the lock on my locker. When I have to use computers...well they're the worst. It's weird to see the effects of this pandemic on PEI - I mean, it's such a small island that I'd almost developed a false sence of isolation from the rest of the world. People are talking about closing our school, 1 out of every four of my friends carries hand sanatiser in their pockets. It's just such a weird, change compared to what I'm used to.

Couple of my friends have it, couple of my friends siblings have it - I could fall into that catogory. My brother is having a few symptoms, he has a cold for sure. x3

On the bright side, teachers don't want to teach any new material because of all the missing students, a hell of a lot of pressure was taken off the oral presentations I'd had to do, and midterms could be reschedualed.
